Gemma Mullin
Gemma launched The Wedit in early 2023 after a 10-year career as a national newspaper journalist & BBC producer. Originally from Devon, she moved to Essex with her now husband in 2020. They got engaged while she was living in New York and, after having their wedding postponed twice, finally married in Scotland in 2021. Gemma has a three-year-old son and a ginger toy poodle. When not at a wedding, she can be found hanging out with her boys (usually at the park, the zoo or a farm), listening to podcasts or enjoying a musical.

Megan Owers
Megan has been a content creator for five years, sharing her daily life on TikTok with her 9k+ followers. As the designated photographer in her friendship group, she loves nothing more than capturing every moment on her phone - including her friend’s weddings. She started assisting Gemma in 2024 and officially joined The Wedit team in January 2025. Megan recently bought her first home with boyfriend of 12 years (yes, we’re all hoping she gets her ring very soon!) and when she’s not creating content you’ll find her with family and friends, at the beach, baking or watching a good series.
